This blog post was inspired by Creative Female Entrepreneurs, who I am connected with via Instagram. I posted a question about which topics
they would be interested in learning more about, in order to enable them start, or grow their online Lifestyle Business Ventures.
Out of the following topics below, blogging was one of their topmost
selected topics, which they wanted to learn more about. Over the following weeks,
I will also be providing content via Instagram and my CfM Elite LifestyleBusinesswomen, Facebook Group.

Onto the topic matter at hand. How do you get started with blogging
and why should you start one? It can be daunting to know, which sites to use.
Including how to create and develop your own website. If you are just starting out, I would recommend
starting off with FREE platforms, such as Social Media Sites (i.e. Instagram
and Facebook Creator/Business Page), including sites like Google Blogger.
I started my first blog site with Google Blogger over 10 years
ago and found it a great platform to share my reflective thoughts mainly pertaining to Existential Matters. I wasn't expecting any financial gains and wrote as a cathartic and creative experience.
Nowadays with Free and Paid Platforms (such as Wordpress)
you have access to analytics to help you gain clarity on how well your blogs
are performing. In terms of what your which key topics your prospective clients
are interested in and searching for solutions.
In terms of getting started with Blog Writing. Here are my
tips:
1. Write from your heart and based on topics you are passionate
about, which align wiht your core key values in life, purpose and vision. If
you are not interested or passionate about what you are writing about your most
likely to build authentic connection with your audience. Your audience and
prospective clients will notice it.
2. Choose topics and opportunities which also align with your
branding image and personality.
3. Set the intention to add social value and to contribute to
greater cause (sharing informative and education information which helps
others) rather than focusing on immediate/instantaneous gratification and
financial rewards.
4. Don't expect to gain immediate attention from your audience,
or new partnerships. This is where most people start to lose confidence in
themselves and drop off the radar as they choose the wrong focus.
5. Focus on developing your skills in your Niche Market and
in building your self-confidence. Social Media Platforms, LinkedIn, Google
Blogger, Pinterest, many other sites are all free. There is no excuse or reason
why you can't get started today.
6. Don't over think it or wait for perfection to happen.
7. Become a Lifetime Student and develop daily rituals and new
lifestyle habits consisting of reading, listening to audio books/podcasts as
well as learning from online resources within your Niche Market.
The internet is your Oyster, so is learning from those who have
already been there and achieved similar goals you are seeking to achieve.
If it’s something you are truly passionate about becoming a
Blogger/Content Creator, you will find the space and time focus on writing. I
often use my Notepad App. to jot down notes of inspiration to share on Social
Media, in Community Groups or to develop Blogs like this one.
Listening and reading educational and intellectual information
daily helps you to remain well informed about current trends, issues, problems
or solutions people (your audience and prospective clients) are looking
for.
For me creating content is a lifetime commitment, it’s something
that I enjoy doing naturally, regardless of financial rewards or recognition.
These are all secondary factors.
⠀⠀
⠀ BE COMMITTED TO BECOMING A
LIFETIME STUDENT! ⠀
DEVELOPMENT AND SELF LOVE MATTERS!
BE LESS CRITICAL OF YOURSELF!⠀
I used to be very self-critical and spent a lot of time overthinking whether my writing skills were good enough or not. I invested too much time worry what other people would think. This until, I learnt that it was not all about it. It was more about the social value that I wanted to add. That is why, it is very essential to focus on your reason why and purpose in life, so that you minimise being self-critical and focus on the grander goals in life beyond you.
Your words and thoughts do matter. Someone out there is waiting for your information.
️You grow through writing and creating content on a regular basis.
️You don’t have to be an English Literature Major or Graduate.
️Making mistakes and errors, shows you are human. If you make a mistake what is the worst that can happen> Aside from you not truly being able to live a fulfilled lifestyle.
️ The beauty about creating content online, is that you can review/amend typos following publication and thereafter. ⠀
⠀
LAST BUT NOT LEAST -
It’s not about you and it’s not personal. Pay minimal attention to negative
critics out there who do not help you constructively or contribute positively in
your life. There should not matter. When you love what you, your passion,
mission, vision going forward become your key focus.
Focus adding purpose driven social value.
You will he become more FEARLESS
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF STARTING YOUR OWN BLOG SITE? ⠀

place, your wealth is in your email list. ⠀
