Welcome to my Youtube Channel (Subscribe for Updates Here!!!). In today's live session, I talked about some of the personal relationship challenges that come with building an Online Business, which can either hold you back from starting or help you progress forward.
1. Challenges of being in a relationship and the importance of being in a supportive relationship. The reason being is that you will spend a significant amount of time developing your business. It helps to discuss your plans so that there is mutual understanding and compromise. There is also a distinction between discussing your decision and seeking permission to follow your life vision. Seeking permission may stop you from progressing forward especially if your partner says does not agree with your intended purpose.
Your Online Business venture will pay off more when you are in a relationship in which you both mutually support each other to become the best version of yourself. Whereby, your partner does not feel threatened or feel that you are competing with them.
2. Your own personal challenges (with self-limiting beliefs) when it comes to managing mindset matters. Above everything else, your mindset will be your biggest challenge. It takes being open to self-awareness and continuous development, to succeed in the Online Business world. Otherwise, you may find you are easily influenced by external factors and self-limiting beliefs as the main reasons for not being able to progress forward.
- Knowing your personality traits helps, including being aware of the things you are most likely to talk yourself out of. As there will be days when you do not feel up to doing anything, this could go on for days. You will need that internal self-will mechanism that you are able to tap into to push you forward again.
- Fear of the unknown, feeling the need to do everything at once and struggling with the "what ifs," can also some of the personal mindset challenges you confronted by when it comes to building and developing your Online Business.
3. Tips on how to move toward regardless of challenges
- Focus on your business goals one step and at a time with the awareness that you do not need to know everything at once.
- Asks yourself
questions that you can answer and start planning strategically based on those answers you already know. This will help you to build a foundation to work with.
- Accept the unknown as is and not as something to fear. Focus on solutions rather than problems.
- Set realistic tangible goals that you can measure going forward and have something to review.
- Don’t jump at every the opportunity that promises you a quick fix and opportunity. Rather focus on opportunities which align with your Life Vision and Core values in life.
- Research, read,
listen, watch business educational information and more ideas will follow
- Focus on tasks that will pay off and not time-wasting tasks.
Lastly, also consider accessing Mentorship or Business Coaching support, including Psychotherapy (for mindset matters and in helping you to overcome self-limiting beliefs). It pays off to gain support from experts who have already been down a similar path as you.
